I just started looking at digital media receivers, and I'd like to find one that will also act as a wireless bridge.
Linksys
Prismiq
HP

I have a Linksys 802.11g AP. One PC is connected via wired ethernet. I want to make this the only wireless device (instead of having a wireless device for my xbox and a separate digital media receiver). All of these devices have an ethernet port, but none of them appear to support hanging devices off of the port (I'm not sure what the networking term is, but basically the port is an "input" to the device, not an "output" to other devices).

Anyone know of a device that does what I'm looking for?

Ethernet Networks do not work like Audio system. I.e. you can not have in and out Network of the same device unless they are build specifically for this purpose.

Any device that is connected via Wireless has to have its own Client Card.

If the devices can be Wired and you would like to connect them through CAT5 wires, you need to get a Switch and all the devices (including the computer) are connected to the switch, each one with his own wire.

I know this. That's why I said I'm specifically looking for a device that supports this bridging functionality.
