Wireless controllers for SNES emulator?

Looking to pick up a pair of cheap controllers to play some classics..and maybe some other random PC games as well. Any suggestions?

Any controller will do fine as long as it has shoulder buttons. I played with a PS2 controller and USB adapter. The Logitech PS2/3 look-alike controllers would be really good for them. 360 controller isn't good for these older games as the Dpad sucks but that's what I use now since I play newer games with it. I would make sure to get something good just in-case you want to play something else in the future with a controller.

Yeah what Zerocool said, i use a 360 controller for various modern console ports and just because its always lying there plugged in i use it for old emulator games as well, the dpad on it does suck and playing these games with an analogue stick gets the job done but it can be a PITA with some games.

One of those other controllers with a good dpad would be fine
