Wireless connection woes

Been out of town for past few days using a wireless connection at the hotel i was staying at. I'm mostly using it to connect to Vent and play WoW. Problem is ~ every 10 mins it seems to linkdead for 2-3 seconds causing disconnects from vent/WoW. Benn tinkering past few 2 days trying to get it to work but cant seemt o get it. I have tried different wireless cards and different channels same thing. The signal seems strong always and never any lag except for the few seconds it goes linkdead. I tried pinging the gateway constantly while waiting for the DC to see if it was from the ADSL connection or a problem between me and their router.

It goes something like:

Reply from 192.168.145.1 : bytes=32 time=1ms TTL=250
""
""
"" for about 5 mins then

operation timed out
operation timed out
operation timed out

Reply from 192.168.145.1 : bytes=32 time=1ms TTL=250
"" until next DC

Im at wits end and cant think of anything else to do. Any suggestions appreciated.

If you are sure its not your wireless adapter, then it would ne be out of the question to assume there is some strong interference knocking out the signal for a moment or two.
