hey guys
i have a brand new inspiron 8500, i have a micorosoft mn-520 (temporarliy till my dlink 650+ is rma'd) i am using it to connect to a dlink 614+ broadband router

it works fine but once in a while i get complete inactivity ,

any ideas?

thanks

a couple suggestions:

1) make sure you have good placement of both the router and the receiver...they don't exactly meet the 100 foot advertised indoor range...

2) ensure that there isnt' another network nearby which is interfering with your signal...in other words, encrypt your wireless!

hope that helps.

cheers!🙂

that did actually work

change the channel and enabled encryption, works much better now

another dude in my buildings got wireless too which was causing the problem
