Wireless Connection Hijacked - funny ideas?

A friend of mine has a wireless router set up and he noticed somebody else had joined the connection list. WAP isn't enabled and MAC filtering isn't on yet, but I'm sure it will be enabled after we've had our fun here. He hasn't blocked him from the network because he wants to have some fun with him.

DMZ is enabled on his computer now so all requests being sent to the router are forwarded to him. I already sent him a message via 'net send' telling him we know that he is using the connection and to cease, but he is still on.

Are there any non-malicious types of activities we can do to have some fun here? For instance, opening his CD-ROM or something along those lines.

I do NOT want to mess up his computer, just teach him a lesson. If there are no suggestions, he will be booted from the network and MAC-filtering will be enabled.

Is there a way you could forward ALL of his requests to goatse?

That would teach him a lesson. :D

LOL That'd be good. I wouldn't know how to do that aside from having access to his hosts.ini file. I don't think the router can forward requests like that, but that's a good idea :D

I'm pretty sure you can muck with his DNS resolution so everything resolves to the IP of goatse....

Track him down and phone him as an official from ITaP. Assuming this is at school. Works wonders and scares the sh!t out of them.

If there was a way to track where the wireless was being used from, we'd be all over him.

If it is in the dorms, he can't be very far away. The concrete walls really limit signal strength since the dorms were constructed to double as bomb shelters.

Really? McCutcheon seems like it'd fall over if a good breeze looked it's way.

Unfortunately, my friend lives in Massachussetts so there's really nothing I can do except for remote commands. He lives in a regular neighborhood so it's a little harder to find where they might be getting the signal at.

Does anybody know if there are ways to track where the wireless signal is being used from?

THEN you can edit his hosts.ini file and route everything to goatse

Maybe that attenna booster thing you see on TV would help. Put it on your head and watch as you track incoming wireless signals. What do you think?

There's always the hidden windows shares you can get into it without a PW. Providing he's using 2000 or XP

The only Windows platforms that would allow you to add connections without authenticating don't have default shares.
