This is the first time i've tried hooking this wireless PC up to my network. I've done my best to ensure all the configuration settings (LAN/WAN, security, etc...) are correct on both this wireless PC and my router, and the result is that both devices can see each other just fine on the local network, there is simply no Internet and web access for the wireless PC. In addition, i do have another wireless computer (a laptop) hooked up that can access both my network -- and the Internet -- just fine.
My only guess is that there is some internal setting in the router (it's a Westell 9100EM from Verizon FIOS) that is preventing it from forwarding Internet traffic to and/or from the wireless PC (i'm running XP). I do note from looking at the router's web management page that it automatically created a couple of port forwarding rules for the PC for both UDP and TCP accessibility to virtually all ports up to around 56000. I'm not sure why the router does this when it doesn't do it for the other wireless computer on this network. I can both modify and simply delete these rules, but nothing helps. I have even configured the wireless PC as a DMZ host, but that doesn't help either.
The wireless PC itself is configured as a DHCP client, though i have also statically configured its TCP/IP network properties, with no benefit. In addition, it's running 802.11g with WEP enabled. And as i mentioned, all possible configurable connection settings are correct as far as i can tell.
