wireless card

I'll latch on to this question as well. Just upgraded to Linksys E4200 dualband, router is upstairs...desktop is downstairs. Wireless card is for desktop. Also, is internal wireless superior to USB version or vice versa? Thanks

internal vs USB depends...

I have a TPLink 951N internal PCI... the antenna is attached directly on the card

in my new apartment, rooms are awkwardly shaped, desktop on floor gets really bad reception... i had to move the desktop around to get optimal antenna coverage

my older Belkin Wireless-N PCI card or USB adapters won't have this problem as the antenna is movable

These are above my price range. Perhaps there are wireless cards out there that are cheaper with good build quality? I dont really need wireless N right now, or in the foreseeable future.
