Wireless Card WMP54GS issue in Vista.

I have Linksys WMP54GS Ver 1.1 wireless NIC. Under Ubuntu ( Natty 64 Bit ) it works flawlessly but in Vista Business Ultimate 32 bit, it stays disabled. I down loaded the latest driver but no go. What is the solution?

The GS line of Linksys (AKA "Speed Booster") was a general "flop".

I am not sure, buy might be that it will do better under Win 7.

Otherwise, there is many decent sub $20 Wireless cards, it might be a good excuse to get a more modern card.

Unlike the old days, USB Wireless cards are working well. PCI Wireless with the Antenna stuck behind the tower is Not the best way to propagate wireless signal to begin with.
