Wireless Broadband - Is it possible?!

Incredible. If they can answer the security and privacy concerns of wi-fi this could be an incredible catalyst for making broadband availible to everyone who can afford it anywhere they want it!. Imagine taking your laptop anywhere within that 50 mile signal range! Take your laptop to Best Buy to compare online reviews of their stock of monitors, take it to a local Barnes and Noble to compare prices with Amazon.com, or even take it with you to the ballpark and get realtime stats on your favorite players. Very cool.
 
I think PowerNet has a few test area like this in sweden... They also have sensors that can recieve signal as long as there is optical range to a transmitter, so no trees blocking...

It works very well for downloading but for playing online games it is for some reason not as stable as dsl.
