wireless bridge?

So the GF and I just moved in together, and both computers need internet access and are in separate rooms. The room with my computer has no cable outlet, however hers does. I have a wireless NIC with PCI interface, but it won't fit in my case. Between my sound card and GPU there's no more room.

Is there a SOHO solution that will receive a 802.11g signal from the router in the next room and convert it to wired ethernet for me? Would this be like a "bridge" or "repeater" or something?

TIA

A wireless bridge or wireless router will work. Just set it up for the main one to be the default gateway(unless you use the bridge, then it will still be on the same network) + all those little wireless settings. Should work ok, don't expect blazingly fast latency's for gaming(just in case you do)
