Wireless being dropped

Hi,

I have SBC Global DSL with a netgear wireless router (WGR614v4) and my connection to my laptop is always being dropped. anyone know how to reslove this? I am not too technical in terms of wireless networking. Any help would be greatly appreicated. thanks
 
Make sure that "Enable IEEE 802.1x encryption" is not ticked on your Wireless connection properties.

Also, it could be that the Netgear wireless is not playing nicely, as is the case with my GF's access point, it keeps dropping the connection. The same laptop with another wireless router/access point (such as my US Robotics) works perfectly.
