wireless b/g compatibility?

Hello, can I use a wireless G usb network adapter with a wireless b internet router? Are they compatible, ie can I pick up a b signal with the g adapter?

Scroll a little down on the page that you linked to, and you would see: Standards IEEE 802.11b/g

That means that it is an 802.11g that is downward compatible with 802.11b.

However it would work only ha 802.11b (slow) and would be secure with WEP (weak).

CompUSA sells older Linksys 802.11b Router for $1.99 after rebate.

They also have an 802.11g for $9.99 after rebate might be that you want to grab one.
