Wireless AP Repeater?

Anyone know which AP can be configured to be a repeater to extend the range of a wireless b network?

What Brand of router do you have ?

Currently have a DLink 514. Am recieving a Linksys soon though, so I have some flexibility.

Does repeaters have to be by the same company to work with the primary wireless router?

Let put it this way. You have much better chance with the same Brand.

Lucky you. D-LinK make a very good decent priced repeater. Look for D-Link 900AP+.

Yes they have to, but I know of one that will work for you for ~$30. I will find the link.

That should work with your D-link router. I am not sure if it will work ornot with the Linksys.
