Wireless and Wired network using computers

Hi everyone,
I was wondering how I would set up a wired network with one computer connected to the internet wirelessly via an access point. The details of the connectins are as follows: one computer is connected to a wireless access point via a wireless usb key. It is also connected to a second computer through its ethernet card using a crossover cable. Now the internet works fine on the first computer but the connection to the second computer has "limited to no connectivity." Before i connected to the wireless interent the wired network was working just fine. I would like to have both connections working and would possibly like to share the wireless connection with the other computer through the wired connection.
Any and all suggestions are appreciated greatly.
Thank You

The solution depends on what you Access Point as connected to as a source?

If it is normal broadband connection get yourself a Wireless cable DSL Router for $20, or use Windows ICS.

However, if you are getting your broadband by using the Access Point as a bridge to someone else Broadband connection it is a different story.

Ya, get a cheapo router.

Or, you will need to setup static routes on the computers. Search google for setting static routes.

You basically want the computer in the middle to be a bridge between the wireless and the wired network. Most (all?) wireless NICs will not let you do that, something with promiscuous mode. I got such an arrangement to work using ICS on the bridging computer. Have it "share" its wireless connection.

Just get another USB wireless Key thing and use that in the second computer. ICS just never works as well as having each have their own connection.
