this is a great deal, ordered my phone friday, just got it today, tuesday...and there was a number guard on my nextel number so it took verizon longer to port the number then planned, so wirefly couldn't ship until Monday.
I'm happy with the company so far, now just have to make sure everything is in working order and we're all good

"Does anyone know if it is possible to get 2 different phones with family plan on this site?"
I seem to only be able to choose one kind of phone, even on the family plans.
-------------------------------

Yes,I did this with seperate orders.I selected any plan $29.99 the cheapest, they come activated and with a contract. When I got the phones I called cingular and said I have these two phones,I want to upgrade my main account to a $59.99 family plan and add the second phone to that plane @ $9.99.
I bought the RAZOR and got a V550 for my sister.
Befor I got my first bill the rep had made all the correct changes to kick my contract off before we even made a call.

Edit :Cingular says you can add "or merge" any cingular phone in any contract to a family plan contract at any time.
So this is a sweet deal for obtaining phones that will ride on a contract from the very begining!

Cool. I should check and see what Verizon's policy is on this (that's pretty much who I'll be stuck with).

But if you do this, then you won't qualify for the rebates that are on the seperate contracts.

But the beauty of the link the OP posted is no rebates :)

I still need to read the fine print though. It seems from my first skimming of it that the plan can change, as long it is in an upward manner.

Yes. The way I read it, you're fine if you keep your number and your phone on your new account. You can switch plans, as long as you don't switch to a cheaper plan.

Your right. They did change it back to 19.99 but that now what you to pay 14.99 to add an Accessory Bundle. All you get is In-Car Charger, Belt Clip, and Hands-Free Earbud.

Thanks for letting me know they changed it back. I will buy it now.

As far as I can tell, that Buy.com deal is the best after-rebate price on this phone (found same deal at cellularchoices but also $299 up front), and $159.99 seems to be the best no-rebate price.

The only problem with buy.com rebate is that they dont have the forms online.
They say they'll include it with the shipment of the phone, but people over at FW
have complained that they only received 1 or none of the rebate slips.

So i think buy.com would be a hit or miss. Not to mention you have to wait I think 180 days before you can mail in your rebate ?

Amazon sounds like a better value.

Hello, I'm currently on a cingular 30 dollar plan and my father is in as well. He is waiting for me to finish my contract so that we can go to T-mobile for their 50 dollar family plan. However, I really am interested in the nokia 7610, it has eveything I want. I have heard of companies PMing programs with each other. Is it possible for me to get 2 new 7610's for free from wirefly and get cingular to give me the 50 dollar family plan? Is the free 7610 deal for new customers only? THANKS

You need to be a new customer to get any of these deals.

I've never heard of a cellular carrier PMing another carrier's rate plan. They would have to build the plans into their rate tables & billing systems.

FWIW, the T-Mobile $50 plan is good if you don't need the minutes of the other plans. I for one get a load of extra value out of Cingular's rollover minutes, and the fact that calling is free to all AT&T and Cingular customers. Those 2 features are worth a boatload of minutes for me.

Has anyone placed an order from this deal for a Cingular plan, received their phones and found everything to be OK?

Fis - don't bother replying to this. I don't know what you agenda is but you clearly have more than a passing interest in this deal.

I like the V550 alot, its better than the v220 all around thats the first free phone I got with my original order, the screen is very sharp and uses an gui image system like the razor. The screen is almost as big as the razor and is as clear and bright as well.

I need four phones. I am concerned I can only order two per family plan. Does the following imply I will have to pay $250 per phone to merge both new plans?

"The $250 Equipment Discount will only be charged if the wireless service rate plan is transferred to a previously existing account, or disconnected, or changed to one of a lower monthly service rate, or if the wireless phone bill is not paid during this 181 day period."

Or should I order two phones here and two phones from someone like LetsTalk and merge that plan into this one?
