Wired To Wireless?

Can I hook a wireless router to my wired router to send a signal to the pcmcia card in my laptop?
I already have the pcmcia card and a friend will give me a 802.11b router.
I have 3 desktops on the wired router.

You need a WAP (Wireless Access Point) to hook up to the router, or replace your existing router with the wireless one.
