Wired Router suggestion

Hello.......Sorry if this has been asked before.........I'm going to buy a new router for my home and it's going to be wired....I dont have any wireless things right now. But have looked around enough to see that almost all routers are going wireless. So a wireless one that could also be used as wired would be fine.

I am looking at these two

Would these be ok for me ?? Would there be any other ones you would suggest ?

I don't need anything fancy just a simple one.

Thanks for your time,

Mike

DD-WRT works awesome on the wrt54gl but its old now - it doesn't have as much ram as modern 128meg routers. i'd go with more ram and solid DD-WRT.

otherwise you can get a cheap router for $10 from verizon shipped overnight with lemonade (milk).(milk)

This takes DD-WRT too and it less expensive than the Linksys.

As far as the Wire part of the Routers are concerned, old, new, make No difference.
