Wired Router and Wireless Router

Our office is wired to each workstation but we have one or two wireless users. We have cable broadband access.

Can I connect a Wired Firewall Rouer such as a Netgear FVS318 to the cable modem, then connect a Linksys WRT54GS to it to handle the wireless users ?

I want a more robust firewall than the Linksys, would the FVS318 be an improvement

sure...just turn off dhcp on the linksys and plug it into a lan port on the netgear. netgear provides vpn, and a couple other features that the linksys doesnt have.

be sure to secure that linksys though...your network is only as secure as your weakest device 🙂
