I picked up a little postcard that said 88 cents an issue for a subscription. They must have an insane sales figure.
 
It used to be better, but it's still readable. I got a 3-yr sub for $1 on ebay - figured for $1 it didn't matter if it didn't work, but it did. When I changed the address last year it said I still had 4 more years to go on the subscription.

At that price it's great.
 
Wired is a hype machine and a good indicator of what NOT to invest in. Almost every company that they say will revolutionize the world dies within 5 years.
