I keep my suits and sweaters on nice hangers, but my random button-downs and t-shirts are all on wire hangers 😱 always makes me feel guilty.
 
i have only one wire hanger, and it has been mutilated such that it's now a poking device that i can stick through walls and floors for cable path locating/pulling.
 
Wire hangers look like shit when they get bent up and stuff falls off of them. At least plastic hangers have the decency break when you overload them so you're not tempted to reuse them.

yeah... I've got more closet space than space in my dresser drawers, so t-shirts get hung up and pants go in the dresser.
 
I use mostly wire but I prefer plastic. Hangers somehow disappear in this house but the metal ones tend to last longer. I think it's my mom and her ever growing wardrobe
