Wipeout HD is supposed to be coming sometime soon, but I don't know when.

It doesn't allow you to download the demo unless your profile indicates that you're from Europe (hint hint 😉).

It's awesome. Somehow seems "crisper" and smoother than Pure (although there's a bit of screen tear on the highest speed class). The controls are great.

And then it's got cool features like infrastructure play (always wished the first one had this), customizable ship skins, etc. (not things I could test in the demo of course).

Can't wait to try it online.

It's already out in England, not sure about the rest of Europe. As for North America, it won't be released here until next year AFAIK. 🙁



I recommend anyone with a PSP try the demo out. It's great fun and only ~14megs. You have to install the Sony PSN downloader crap and activate your system, but it doesn't take long (it didn't even make a fuss about my custom firmware 😛).

So I got the play it "early". Online mode is pretty awesome even if there was only two other people online haha.
