I have been having random computer reboots without BSOD. I have disabled the auto reboots in the start up option, flash new motherboard bios, installing new drivers for all hardwares, switching back to window 2000 and reformat the hard drive, but none of those really solved the problem. In the event viewer, I noticed everytime the computer reboots, there is a yellow warning sign in the application category.

The COM+ Event System failed to fire the StartShell method on subscription {A5978620-5B3F-F1D1-8ED2-00FA0035B753}-{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}-{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}. The subscriber returned HRESULT 80004001.

Anyone know what this message might be implying? Thank you in advance for any possible solutions.

Only a suggestion. Check to see if the COM+ Event system Service is running under Administrative Tools. If it is, stop it and see if it still reboots. If it is stopped start it.
