I'm not sure if it even corrupts but this is the third time it's happened in the last two months.
Basically, whenever I try to come back from a reboot, or shutdown, I get a message saying Windows can't start because \windows\system32\config\system is missing or corrupted. This is much like MS KB Article Q303012.
My question is, what the heck is causing this? Everytime I get this, I need to copy over a new system hive file over and I need to reinstall all the drivers again... and this causes more problems in the future, unless I reformat.
I did make a backup of the system hive file that Windows didn't like... anyone know how I can go back to using that setting again?
