I'm on a Dell desktop (at work). I checked the option for "Show Window Contents While Dragging" in my Display control panel. Everything is fine until I reboot the computer.

I log back in and see that the option is unchecked again! What's going on?

Since I'm on a PC at work, I can't reformat/reinstall/re-anything Windows.

Can somebody please help? Thanks a bunch.

GPO changing it back when you login probably

What's GPO?

Group Policy. They can configure any setting they want on your desktop with a group policy. If they wanted you to have a certain background, they could set it. If they wanted to disable internet access, they could disable it.

start > run > gpedit.msc. However, that's not your problem. It appears that it's a common issue with certain dell machines.
