winxp, sblive, ut = static on every other run

just like the topic says, every other time i run UT, the sound gets all garbled. it'll run perfectly, then sound like trash, perfect, trash, perfect trash.

i've tried turning the acceleration down a notch in dxdiag, but that doesn't help. any ideas?
 
The same thing happened to me... I think I fixed it though...

Download and install the UT 436 Creative Edition patch, Creative Labs EAX library patch, and enhancements from HERE.
