WinXP running "nude", any more system resource use than Win2k?

Ok everyone is talking about what a resource pig WinXP is going to be...granted this new UI (Luna?) is probably going to eat a ton of system resources...

But the beta testers have claimed you can turn that all off. So assuming we turn it all off, and set our UI back to a Win2k-like UI, will XP really use much more RAM than Win2k does now?

The only way to tell that your upgrade is a genuine Microsoft product is to check to make sure the amount of RAM used has doubled after install.

In the newest build of XP, I can turn off the fluffy sh!t.

Nude on boot I am using 63.9MB add 1.6MB for the new UI.
