WinXP reboot loop

Ran Spybot last night. Walked away and returned to an error message about the video driver (can't remember exactly). Computer was frozen. Had to physically turn off at the power strip.

Now when I turn it on I get to the Windows XP welcome page and it reboots (and reboots and reboots). Did the same in safe mode. Can't break the cycle. I do not have the windows S/U disk. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried the Last Known Good configuration? Sometimes that helps. It's especially tough to diagnose if you can't see what the actual error is (what file, stop code, etc).

DBSX, thanks for the help.

Last known good configuration did not work either. I am going to disable the "reboot upon system failure" and see if I get an error message and blue screen.

Anyone else have any ideas?
