winXP PC freeze

few days before I got malware. I was able to remove using malwarebytes, but after that my PC is freezing after running sometime. First thing I thought about temparature. I kept cover open and have fan next to it. Still it freezes after runing PC for few min. I am running winXP sp3. I hope it has nothing to do with Norten scewed up.

Any suggestion?

every time I removed a lot spyware with malwarebytes o manually I ended up intalling XP again, It s because the damm spyware or malware change setting in windows.
 
I would agree with colonel in this sense...

It's logical to think of the events happening like this:

1. PC functions fine before malware
2. Removal of Malware
3. Problems start happening.

I'm pretty sure thinking about temperature at this point is not reasonable/logical.

You might be able to run some things like ComboFix and HiJackThis and post the logs.
