anyone know if this would work. i am borrowing a DELL oem winxp home cd. Ii'm figuring this is the standard OEM since Dell usually just has that. Anyways... i have an HP with a win xp home license, but it has a restore disk only.
so is it probably that using the dell CD and putting it in the HP and then using my HP winxp home key, that i can install a clean install, without having to install all that other crap from the restore disk?
