winXP display settings messed up

i have a winxp box hooked up to a LCD TV... worked fine until my gf decided to tamper with the display settings. shes not sure what she reset the resolution too, but now the screen doesnt come up and and i just get a 'out of range' message from the monitor. I plugged in another monitor and get the same problem. i can see the computer post, but as soon as windows starts up, it goes out. i tried resetting the res in safe mode, but i get the same problem when i reboot normally.

anyway to get it back to normal? i am ready to reformat this piece of crap.

Just reboot into safe mode and change the resolution to 640x480 or something. If that still doesn't work boot into safe mode then delete the video driver.
