So, my Western Digital HD has been very screwy as of late. Its a 45GB HD but it kept thinking it was a 7.5GB all day long yesterday. Somehow, its ok now, and I'm just moving all my important files off it. However, there is a certain directory that causes the computer to crash when I copy files from it. I've gotten it to crash about three times now with that folder. This folder holds alot of program install files....dont know if that would play any role. Any ideas?

This *is* interesting. What's the STOP code and parameters? Get these from the system event log in an event from SAVEDUMP that says "the system is recovering from a bugcheck." Get the hex numbers.

I couldn't find the system event log...so I just crashed it again. I got a PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA message and the
STOP: (0xBF7F001C, 0x00000001, 0x80526A37, 0x00000002)

Thanks for the help.
