WinXP CD Burner Question

How well does the WinXP cd burner work w/ cdrw's? Does it pretty much work like DirectCD, except a lot better? Can I effectively use it as a replacement for floppy disks, or will it have problems w/ older Windows OSs and Macs?

Roxio wrote the code for the CDRW and burner functions of XP. It's a simpler version of EZ and DirectCD.
You can install EZCD 5 and the XP patch for it and be back to all the options that you had before installing XP.
The built-in XP stuff is ok for simple burning but not much more.
