WinXP: Bypassing Welcome screen when resuming from standby/hibernation?

This is for a single-user WindowsXP Pro. Since there's only one user, the Welcome screen is bypassed upon startup. But it appears when resuming from standby/hibernation (with the single user being shown as "logged on").

How do I set it to resume straight to the desktop?

Is it possible you have the welcome screen checkbox set under the screen saver tab?

on the screen saver screen goto power>advanced> uncheck "prompt for password..."
