Winxp bootloader query after installing sp2

My boot.ini file after installing sp2 is as under:

[boot loader]
timeout=10
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn
C:\CMDCONS\BOOTSECT.DAT="Microsoft Windows Recovery Console" /cmdcons
C:\="Microsoft Windows 98"

What does '/NoExecute=OptIn' in the winxp loading option means? It wasn't present before installing sp2.
Just curious. Is it harmful?

It's setting the DEP policy. See here.

Also, putting this into Google gives you zillions of links on the subject....
