WinXP and SB Live! Problem

I have Windows XP Pro 2509 installed on my PC with my Sound Blaster Live! card and I can't seem to get any audio even though Windows says that the device is working properly. I have tried installing the newest SB Live! drivers off of the Windows Update site, but still can't get it to work. Any ideas?

no, I've gone through all of the audio settings and it's not muted

mine works fine except i can't get 4 speakers to work correctly....I even tried installing the liveware for win2k but it didn't help

Still can't get audio, I tried plugging my speakers into the Onboard VIA audio codec and still got no sound. I did an audio sound check built into my speakers, and they work. I'm just confused as to what is going on.

what does device mgr say about your audio devices?

are they phucked? - typically indicated by a little yellowish mark
