Winter Tire time...

Hey guys. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba and winter has begun here. My two front tires are pretty worn, and need to be replaced. My two backs tires are fine(they are all season tires). I was wondering if I should purchase two winter tires, or two all season tires for the front of the car. Winter usually lasts a while here (at least 4 months) and conditions can get a little slippery. Any suggestions for winter/all season tires and any recommendations for places to buy them?

Thanks in advance!

research on tirerack.com

I would get new tires all around. In winter, you don't want to suddenly loose traction in the front or rear because of mismatched tires. Plus, it can mess with you ability to brake well, as well as with your abs system if you do have one.

Agree with TechnoKid, but my question is, do you rotate yer tires? I ask because you say the front is worn and the back is fine. And also do you have 2 different sets of tires on yer car?
