winter sucks

I was just thinking how much I miss the snow. 🙁 I'm totally down with a few more months of Winter, with some big storms thrown in.

Snow??? Us Southern Cali people that don't live in the mountains don't even know what this white substance is. I've only seen snow one time in my life. It was fun but I've never skii'd or snowboarded. I just went down the snow in a little dinky sled.

March is the worst for me. It throws you those 2 or 3 days of semi warm weather at you then back to mid 40's and piss rain for weeks. Not until late April in Jersey does it become at least more relaxing.

I dunno, you can't really snowboard in the summer. I'm going to have to disagree with the thread title. Winter rules!*

* as long as you live in a place that allows you to make a reasonable day trip to a ski resort, but otherwise enjoy 70F+ weather..

Last March sucked bad here in MI. It was freezing cold and then it let loose with the biggest snowfall of the year! I am hoping this March is just wet and rainy.

I'm getting sick of having to take snow off the car every day, other then that, I don't mind winter. Our summers are wet and crappy, at least in the past year. I'll take the dry cold over rain, any time.

a snow storm stopped here about an hour ago. I sure hope there isn't another one coming.

I lived in cold and snow most of my life...I don't miss it a bit, EXCEPT for Christmas morning.

Hell, northern Kahleeforneeya winters (lows in the 30's, rainy and foggy) are too dammed cold!! It's too dammed hot in the summertime too.

I need to move someplace like San Diego or Maui...

Even after living in the cold all my life, I still hate it. I'm sure I'll move to Portland or Seattle sometime in my future.

I haven't seen snow in decades. I was hoping to see some this winter and could have if I'd gone up into the hills maybe to 800 foot elevation, but didn't get the chance.

Winter is all but over here, what passes for winter. Actually it gets pretty cold in my house and some mornings I get up and it's under 50 in my bedroom, even 45 or so, and in my kitchen. Burr. I'm keeping a chart of temperatures as of the last week or so. Max/min per day and temp in my bedroom in the morning. In a month (or less!!) I'll be planting my tomatoes.

Tomorrow will be hell of rainy here -- heavy rains, but it will be a very warm rainstorm with temperatures reaching above 60! I like that kind of weather. It might be exciting, especially if we can get some thunder. I heard a couple of claps a few days ago... it's rare here. I'd like to live where you get big-ass thunderstorms. There's nothing like big thunder and flashing lightening bolts.

Those places have wonderful weather. Yep, it's too hot where you live in the summer.
