Glad I moved to FL a few years ago!! I don't miss the cold and snow from the Albany NY area!Hopefully none of that hits us, my city is still not done clearing the streets from the last storm lol. Lot of streets down to 1 lane only, then we got that freezing rain for one day earlier this month and it fouled up everything. Streets are super rough now because of all the uneven ice. A real mess.
Almost got stuck in the Tim Horton's drive thru today too. Had to put it in 4x4.
Temps are going down to like -30 so I doubt we'll get any snow.
I lived in Baudette when I was a kid. Absolutely loved it because our house was at the top of a hill right above the river. My mom won a walleye fishing contest there one year. Lol.-18 right now, supposed to drop to -26 overnight. Going to be a couple of cold days in duluth. Schools already canceled for tommorow.
Albany is a nice little city. Lovely downtown with all the old buildings and architecture. Was there once when it snowed about 12 inches overnight and everything shut down.Glad I moved to FL a few years ago!! I don't miss the cold and snow from the Albany NY area!
I can walk outside if the sky cooperates and watch the Cape Canaveral area rocket launches with ease!
Exactly! We’re been prepped since yesterday. Wife ran over and made sure our kids weren’t caught unaware of the situation.Staying home is my plan, so spent the last 2 days running errands, getting supplies, fuel, etc., but wasn't bad as it was in the low 50s.
No...fuck that nasty ass tule fog. That shit is wicked. At least in the snow, you can USUALLY see what you're going to crash into...where as in the tule fog, you often can't even see the end of your hood, let along a few hundred feet in front of you.I'm ok with the fog here in Central California. Snow sucks. Ice sucks. Below 0 temps suck.
