So...that opening ceremony was sort of a ripoff of the 2000 Australia Olympics eh?
Oh well...it was still great presentation 🙂
 
They had a Native american dance at the aussie olympics? And a symbolic train to drive the golden spike? And a bunch of ice dancing with a boy on a light set in a winter storm? And a wagon train to celebrate the pioneers? And they had an arena full of ice?

Man you saw a different olympics than I did. What color is the sky in your world?
 
Theme was a boy -> girl
Native american -> Aborigi blah whatever...
and etc...

They aren't even close the same. The only thing that is similar was the lighting of the cauldron and the parade of athletes. Lay off the crack man.
 
I doubt any Olympics in the near future will get close to the beauty and splendor of the Winter Olympics in Lilehammer.
 
only parts i liked were the anthem sung with the WTC flag present and the olympic rings on fire at the end...

everything else was kinda boring...but that's IMHO...i'm not much of a person for ceremonies...
