I remember RAR for DOS used to tell you which file is corrupted as it unarchive itself. WinRAR seems to go through all the archives and then finally give an error message at the end which is useless because it doesn't state which file is corrupted.

If I am not mistaken, if you download WinACE, it will tell you which RAR file is broken.

i mean if the file is corruptd in terms of size then it says which file is broken because it halts. plus you can tell by comparing size. but when there is a CRC error, and all the files are the correct size, it doesn't tell you jack.

What version are you using? I don't think the older versions told you, the newer ones however do.
