Winproxy and Speed.

Is anyone using Winproxy know if it affects browsing speed? I am thinking of switching to ICS and using a firewall straight up. Don't know what to do.
 
i've used wingate and ics, both are really fast
i found wingate more stable than ics under win98 tho...under win2k ics is great
