Winner of Real Time Demo in Nvscene contest final out

Uhh, thanks for posting this, but the compo was in August of 2008. Why are you posting it now?

Because the one from August was not the final version.
The version that was in the contest was not completely what the team wanted it to be, so after the contest they had more time to make it like they really wanted.

If you look at all the files dates , they are from the 18, 19, etc of Jan 2009.

The demo scene is essentially contest to display the best video or audio work within whatever category your in . Some are how small the program is, others like this one is what can you draw on the screen using just the video card and cpu, no pre-rendered movies, etc. It all had to be rendered in real time with the gpu/cpu

Sort of like the scenes you see with 3dmark but not done for measuring fps, but more for the artist to show off what they can do.
