Kazaa Lite at the moment, just over 5 Petabytes being shared as of now.

I never really liked WinMX and have always been able to get the stuff I want from Kazaa. There seems to be more >128kbps stuff on there recently too.

You'll get 70% of answers for Kazaa (especially the Lite client version)
10% use FTP
10% for the gnutella network
5% for WinMX
2% for Blubster
2% for Freenet
1% for users who still think they are connected to Napster.

Hehe, of course, these are just semi-random numbers. But the options are listed :p

winmx is the best way to get stuff hours after it aired on japan tv, so my vote for wimmx. it's a pain though, you probably have to trade and crap for rare stuff.

The thing I liek about WinMX is that I can have a search filter for all files above or equal to 160kbs. Sometimes I go for 192.
With Kazaa I cant do that. When they implant that feature, ill switch.

The reason I like WinMX is becuase I can find mp3's at 320 but rate. 128 is teh suckage IMO. Kazaa Lite is good for poRn though the ""high quality stuff"" I find on WinMX. Only thing about WinMX is it's being a memory whore at the moment, it take up 100mb or ram from my total of 1 gigabyte of PC133 ram, prolly some glitch. I'm running Win XP Pro.

I used to use WinMX a lot but it's been sucking for at least the past year, so I use Kazaa Lite for 99.999% of my *cough*legal*cough* music downloads. ;)

Winmx gives you quality...if you can ever download anything. Maybe it's just me, but I can never get complete files from there, and usually I can't even connect most times that I try (to users to get files, not to the server - I can get on the server just fine, and yes, my firewall is set up to properly forward the port necessary). It used to be better a long time ago, but it's gone down the crapper lately. :(

That's how it is when I am in my dorms, but at home it is a totally different WinMX for some reason:confused:.
