Maybe? I needed to find a file and opened it up and it didn't work. Haven't used it in a long time.

Two months ago, I believe. I swore by it for a long time.

I still use it. Just need to update your HOSTS file so WinMX can find the server.

I have a copy of the HOSTS file entries needed to make it work. Can I post them here?

Ladies and Gentlemen, There's your American Tax dollars at work. This Happened like a week or two ago when they basically just caved to the RIAA and said they didnt want to fight anymore like the grokster case. Personally I'm on strike from buying anything sponsered by the RIAA. The Last CD my gf bought for me was MuDvAyNe's new cd last March, and I bought Shdaows fall in November of 2004. I'll stick with my internet radio and college campus person to person (literally) sharing.

The software no longer being available will not prevent people from using the last verison which was pretty good and stable. Private servers are better anyway.

I don't think Nik cares too much about his post count. I remember a couple years ago, I put a software thread in OT and it got moved by a moderator. There must be too much volume to do this now. Of course the software forum is in dire need of the split that has been begged for over a year now, and fallen on deaf ears. Not any response whatsoever, but I guess AT hates software and is more of a hardware oriented site...

Yup, and they're not willing to "hire" any more to help them out either, apparently.

I would assume such "jobs" are by invite only, and I know for a fact there are very few people with a worse chance of such an invite than you. So stop being a rent-a-mod, and mind your own damn business.
