WinMX error with Win2000....IRQ problem

Interesting problem... my latest Win2k install is rock solid except when I run a little sharing app called WinMX...I get a lovely BSOD, and something to the effect of "Driver IRQ equal or less than...." then a memory dump then a reboot.

I'm thinking it's the VIA chipset on my motherboard, but can't narrow it down.
