winmgmt.exe error

I just formatted my drive and installed windows 2000. I get an error saying "WinMgmt.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created" this error pops up every five minutes, and i can get quite a few of these error boxes up. WinMGmt.exe clearly is not being closed, unless it is also being restarted. I think the problem might be related to my administrator and/or user stuff, how do i set that so that windows has no issues with it?
