WinME shutdown problem

when shutting down WinME around 59% of the time it hangs for about 20 seconds then BSOD stating

<< Windows protection error you need to restart your machine >>

. I switch off with the pwr switch.
this problem isnt program related because it happens nomatter what i have running or not.

I had that error before. It was related to my Nvidia Detonator drivers. I changed them and have enver seen that screen at shutdown since.

5.32, i installed 5.22 but MS had the 5.32 update.

By the way, on the TNT2 series, the 5X deotnators give better performance.

I been having the same problems and I only have a ati expert98 8 meg video card,I changed the video card a few times and software with no different results,also I lose the video driver each time I get the windows pertection error,first have to boot up in safty mode the restart and when it does no video drivers are found.
