Don't like it...no sir.
Seems a little slow.

BUT, don't ask me why...I was comparing the versions of notepad.exe.
Being one of my favorite apps, I thought I was loosing my mind when testing WinMe, that the Search and Replace was missing! Details:

- Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Millennium Operating System: Version: 4.90.3000
- Microsoft(R) Windows (R) 2000 Operating System: Version: 5.00.2140.1

Sad...Very sad.

Anyone else...

I actually like WindowsME.....but I hd a LOT of problems until I obtained the right drivers early on....

It is faster on my SCSI system at bootup, thats for sure. I just wish I could put Notron Utilities on there with Speedisk :)

It seems like we had the same discussions here when '98 came out. It takes a while for the hardware and drivers to get caught up. I still use '95b extensively with all the patches and bug fixes.

Then again, aren't all M$ products.....experimental? =)

I don't know whether I like it or not. I've tried installing it 8 times, both ove 98 and clean disk, and I get error after error when it tries to set up my harware. I've yet to load windows. I want my money back.
