I am sorry if someone has posted this before. I tried to read through the forum and did not find mention of an actual solution. I understand that WinME and Soundblaster Live cards are having some problems. I did a clean install of WinMe and when it was over it had not installed drivers for Soundblaster Live card. When I then installed the drivers I began getting an EMU10K blue screen. I know that this is Soundblaster driver, and I get this Blue Screen quite regularly. I have tried several different solutions for this problem and am not having any luck. Does someone know what I need to do?

I have a SB Live and did a clean install too. WinME didn't automatically install the drivers for this card. I had to download and install them myself. I have no problems. Did you install the newest Liveware 3.0 drivers? Also, what kind of mainboard do you have?

Have you downloaded the latest set of drivers for your sound card? SoundBlaster Live! Drivers

I ran WinME for nearly two months and only had one problem with my Live! Value card. I usually don't play games but I decided to revisit The SIMs. I got static during certain musical interludes of the game.

Unfortunately, I don't have a specific solution for you. Two days ago I dumped WinME in favor of Win2K. No more audio problems. (Even in The SIMs.)
