When did it become popular NOT to paint your body kits? Do these kids actually think they look cool in their Civic's and Accords with white/blue plastic sticking out like a sore thumb? Granted painting is spendy, but if you can get the kit, save up and get the damn things painted you look like a moron.

Why in god's name do you put a big ass wing on a FWD car? I really do not understand this. Then to top it off some guys put a big old can muffler on and stop there. Why? If you are going to act like you have something under that hood then PUT something under the hood.

I am curious how much HP and Torque can a Honda I4 put out before they start having reliability issues?

Isn't putting NOS on a non modify engine just asking for trouble?

And it's ok for your RWD car to have an obnoxious wing

A wing is useless and looks stupid no matter which wheels are moving your car.

Well at least on a RWD they serve a purpose above ~ 50 MPH if they are desgined correctly.

Obviosuly you are not a car person, because if you were you would understand where I am coming from. As far as them " not giving a rat's ass about what I drive" then why I am always getting told "hey man nice car" ?? HMMM

What about taking off the hubcaps and exposing the stock wheel on a rice burner...are they really expecting to pit soon?? I am sure the weight loss is dramatic enough to seriously increase the acceleration (yeah right).

lol I hear you.....the unpainted body kits bug me too! But they've been around since body kits for VW Bugs (baja kits) came around....they were seldom painted, too

But it's worse now, I see guys painting their wipers, etc white to match the unpainted body kit.....stupid

Another one of my favorites is having a tach the size of a softball and a shift light. This isn't the NHRA, if your ear can not pick up the right time to shift on a I4 you have no business trying to race.

Some peoples kids....they do whatever to be "cool"

Unpainted body kit = "its a work in progress" they say
Huge Tach = "I drag race in my moms Honda Accord"
Exhaust Tip = "I'm going to get a weapon-r system soon" they say ...

Yes, at one time, these imports had decent bodies and good resale value... now, people know these cars are probally beat to hell, and won't resell as much. Really, who'd want to buy a car with someone else's mistakes?

Another thing that seems to be none to bright is getting those extra 10-15 ponies and then throwing a hundred pounds of amps/subs/boxes in the back. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of your engines mods?

I tottally hate that non-painted body kit on a car.
If your going to have money to buy the kit, at least have enough money to paint the b.itch.

I'm a car person, and it doesnt bother me. There's a myriad of things that piss me off when I drive, some idiot's unpainted body kit is not among them.

Or do what I did, get it painted, but the body shop paints it the wrong color. BOOO!

Was close enough. My car was white, the kit was white with blue pearl...

HAHAHHA!
